Hello! I am 18 years old and an American high school student. My dream is to visit Japan and hopefully live there someday. I'm just a beginner from scratch, so my Japanese is very bad. I would love to make friends and share what life is like in our country!

I am 17 and going to college next semester to study Hindi and Urdu with International Relations. I really love Hindi and Urdu and have been learning for 4 years on my own, but with very little speaking practice. I also play the violin and piano, both for 10 years. I am a part of my school's Bhangra team and like to listen to Bhangra music as well as Bollywood and Pakistani rock, in fact it's all I listen to. I traveled to Delhi and Rajasthan last winter. I like to play football (soccer), cricket and working out. I am interested in improving my Hindi and Urdu, learning Farsi and learning about your culture and life.

I am a 22 year old male, just looking for a Chinese penpal really. Actually, any penpal would work, I use to have some, but we sort of stopped talking. One of them was a Chinese girl, the same age as well, and she sent me a postcard of a waterfall, and looking at it yesterday, I wanted to renew my efforts of learning Chinese.

I am 29 years old and have always been fascinated by the Japanese culture from the proud and honorable samurai to the modern open free spirits that are there today. I am interested in learning Japanese because I would love to live there one day. Its actually my goal to be able to live there one day. Plus Id love to learn the language so I don't have to read subtitles in my anime and movies. What I like to do for fun is read manga watch anime game a bit and love cooking. but if your willing to help me with Japanese I'm definitely willing to help with English. Sorry not a gold member yet

Well, I'm probably better as a penpal for others to pratice English. I haven't used Japanese in about two years, but I've taken about four semesters of it. I started taking Japanese again and it inspired me to try to keep using it even if I don't have anyone around me to converse with. I'm 29, pretty much a relaxed, causal person, and I rather speak to someone who can ignore the massive amount of mistakes I'll make in Japanese. It would be helpful if you can understand English fairly well, though I don't mind teaching and correcting you.
I'll write more later in Japanese, to show off my skills haha.
