I live in the US and am a beginner in the Slovak/Polish/Czech languages. I come from a Slovak/Polish backround and learned some of the language/s as a young child. Now as an adult, I would hate to lose that heritage, as older family members who were fluent are no longer here to carry it on, so I want to become fluent if I can...though I don't remember much from my early years.
