I want to learn Spanish and Italian. My grandmother was from Puerto Rico and spoke fluent Spanish. My other grandparents were from Italy and spoke Italian. I wish to learn their languages to honor them. I also wish to travel to countries that speak these languages.

I am 18 years old and I live in the United States. To be completely honest, I am trying to learn Spanish so that I won't be clueless when I go to my boyfiend's house. His family all speaks Spanish. I am going to college to be a chemistry teacher or maybe a chemical engineer. It would help me in life to learn another language.
