During my CELTA course, I have learned different teaching methods including class as well as private lesson. I have done 6 hours of teaching practice where I was observed by two different experienced tutors. I have taught adults from elementary to upper-interme diate level and they enjoyed my lessons as they were entertaining as well as challenging. I want my students to speak as much as possible because that's the only way for them to learn fluency. Furthermore, I have taught to Greek students so I'm already familiar with the common mistakes and I can help to fix them. |

From my experience learning Spanish and German, I learned that mastering a foreign language depends on communication . While living and working in Germany, Mexico, Spain, and Colombia, it is imperative to speak the language. For this reason, my approach is for a student to gain confidence in communication skills.
What makes my English learning program unique is that I will adapt my methods to my student’s needs. If a student is having problems in one area, I will make sure that the student will master it by the end of my program. Each student is different and I will invest my time in making him or her comfortable with the language. It is important for me to build a strong professional relationship to help them achieve their language goals. |
