I customize my courses according to each student's preferences, needs and level, when it's one on one basis. I use the immersion method in my teaching, I've taught Portuguese to Chinese students who want to go abroad to Portuguese speaking countries or to businessmen who have clients who speaks Portuguese. I use several teaching books, especially Portugues Sem Fronteira and other online resources both for conversation and grammar.
I also use other multimedia materials (language and music CDs, DVDs) and other class activities to further improve student's speaking, listening and comprehension skills.

This job itself will let me help students learn English while they have fun at the same time. I want to teach in setting because I believe that some students do not really care much to learn, and I want to change that. I want them to care enough so that they will want to learn. I want them to care and enjoy learning Portuguese and English because I believe that it will be beneficial for them later on in their lives. Something I believe strongly in is that not only do the students learn, but the teacher also.
Learni ng Portuguese or English can be hard, but I believe that if you persevere and try your best, you can do it.
