I rely upon the methodology developed by the experts but not entirely. I require students to read and I provide reading material to suit the individual student's current competence. I also require students to write - even for the youngest - as a means of developing vocabulary. My lessons for children include a variety of activities including colouring, games and songs; while I may be retired, I am still a 'kid at heart'. This approach makes the learning experience very enjoyable for all concerned and encourages children to use what they learn. I have several 'graduates' who have successfully met English School standards and been accepted. This is the real evidence of success.
I offer lessons from my residence located in Ostratu Corbeannca; about a ten minute drive north of Otopeni Airport. |
