Description

I would like to learn Thai because I travel to Thailand often for vacation. I think learning Thai would enable me to become more independent so that I can visit more areas within Thailand that are off the beaten path.

I am a beginner in Thai. I am not completely ignorant in Thai but I am pretty much at a loss for words when out and about on my own.

I need to improve virtually every aspect of my Thai language abilities. Ideally I would like to become conversationa l, not necessarily to the extent of a native speaker, but enough so that I can easily move about independently within Thailand.

I am willing to commit myself to at least 10 hours of online instruction. At this point, without knowing if I have the ability to learn the language I am hesitant to commit to more. However, if I make sufficient progress over the first 10 hours I will remain enrolled until the desired proficiency is reached.

I think it would be helpful if the instructor has a good command of English, has patience, is dedicated and is professional.
