Estudio espanol de un libro de espanol.

I 'm hoping this will give an idea of what I hopefully have learned on my own when it comes to the Spanish language. Aside from asking co-workers about certain rules of why some words apply and why they don't, I'm pretty much learning from books. The problem I have with learning from co-workers, who speak the language by birth, is they can't explain some rules to me when it comes to creating sentences. This makes it difficult at times. I need to hear a reason other than, 'That's just the way it's done.'

To give a little more information on what I have studied so far. I have conjugated some verbs ending in 'AR' and 'ER'. I've learned numbers as far as 'Cuarenta (40)'.

Ano ther issue I run into is, when it comes to vocabulario I have created in Spanish thus far, I find that I am able to read and translate sentences, but I have a tuff time creating sentences and speaking to others in Spanish. I'm looking for someone who cannot only teach me how to read and speak the language, but someone who can teach and help me 'practico hablar espanol.' so that I will build the confidence to speak with others in public.
