I am at absolute beginner's level Russian. I bought a book to learn Russian but thought it would be more enriching to be able to speak and learn from a native or non-native Russian speaker. I am learning Russian for fun, though I am serious about it. I always found it an interesting and beautiful language and would like to be able to communicate and understand it. I need to improve everything, being at absolute beginner's level and would be able to dedicate 2-3 hours per week during the months July to August. I am looking for lessons that are able to wholly teach me reading, writing and conversationa l skills, as well as bring an awareness to the Russian culture and way of thinking/comm unicating. Ideally then, a native Russian speaker or someone who has spent an extended period of time in Russia > 1 year, would be appropriate.

I am interested in learning the Russian language. In my profession I cross many language barriers from European Athletes. I have taken ! semester of Russian at the U of A 10 years ago. With the winter olympics coming up in Russia I would like to go. I have a fairly open schedule in the summer to work on this.

I'd like to learn Russian, German and Greek - not all at the same time, of course. I would like to learn Russian first. I can devote 2 hours a week (plus several hours study) to classes. I'd prefer classes with several students attending.
