I want to read Buddhist texts in their original languages (Tibetan/Sans krit). It would also be nice to converse in Tibetan. I am a complete novice. I can commit at least 4 hours a week and my studies. I looking for a patient and knowledgeable teacher.

I want to learn how to speak Tibetan because i intend to visit Tibet in the future.
I might as well say i am a beginner although i understand and can speak a very few when it comes to Tibetan language.
I am interested more in improving my communication skills.
I would like to take like two classes a week and depending on how fast i improve i want to keep on going because i want to converse in Tibetan fluently.
I want my teacher to be someone who can really benefit me, who is friendly enough so that i can feel comfortable and start learning faster because i am a little shy kind of person.
