Dear Professor,
Peviously, I have successfuly completed French 101 college level. Since that time I have deceide to introduced me children to a second language. My husband and I will begin home schooling our children in September and we would like to incorporated French into the curriculum. Our hope is that by learning a new language that this will create an interest and a respect for other people and different cultures. I would also like to take advantage of this opportunity and be a student along with the children, if this is possible. I was thinking that twice a week we could meet with you as a group depending on your schedule and your fee. Specifically, I am looking for someone who is very good with children and can help us master diction, pronunciation , word recognition, the long term goal would be for the children and I to have the skills to live and function in a french speaking enviroment. My family and I look forward to hearing from you. Also we are a christian household and we will be teaching the children from a christian based curriculum.

Hi! I would consider myself a beginner though I lived in Senegal for two years where learned to speak French. That was over ten years ago so I don't remember much. I also understand and speak passable Spanish (lived in Venezuela for 2 years) and am interested in becoming more proficient in that also. So if you speak both, even better. My interest is strictly for pleasure. I travel a bit and plan on traveling more often so learning both languages will be of use, especially conversationa lly. Unfortunately I am limited to one night a week - possibly two - for lessons and am willing to travel to get to you if it's easier then coming to my location. I'm looking for a teacher who is easy-going, good humored but structured. I really want to do this!
