I have been to Indonesia three times, to visit Yogyakarta and listen to gamelan music. Each time, I tried to learn some Bahasa Indonesia beforehand (from books, CDs, watching movies, etc.), but was disappointed with the results.
M y goal is to be able to converse in Bahasa Indonesia comfortably and speak in a way that will be understood easily.

I'm a beginner level.
I visited Indonesia 6 months ago. I loved the culture and the people, and I would like to go back again speaking Indonesian.
I need help with all areas of the language. However, I'm mostly interested in conversation.
I would like to take a one-hour lesson once or twice a week.
I would like a native person. It can be a school or private lessons. You don't have to be experienced. However, I do expect some results. I have a masters degree. I know how to study. However, without a teacher I find the process much harder.

I have finished a level one Bahasa Indonesia class in Bali but I am back in the USA and would like to continue learning.
I am learning because I have an Indonesian girlfriend and will someday live in Bali.
I have a good vocabulary but have trouble speaking and understanding .
I am willing to spend at least 10 hours per week on language lessons.
I would like to do more verbal. I would like a teacher who is patient and is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and can also speak English.
