I am a beginner. I want to learn all facets of Spanish but mostly, how to communicate day to day. My partner is Mexican and I want to be able to speak his language since he has learned mine and speaks/writes /reads it very well. I am also an airline pilot and we fly to Mexico. I am only learning the Mexican way of speaking Spanish. I would like a Spanish tutor that can be flexible since my schedule differs from month to month. I would prefer a tutor from Mexico or of Mexican decent or someone who lived in Mexico for awhile and got to know the 'Mexican way.'

I have had 2 semesters of college level spanish and studied abroad this summer in Spain where I took a basic Spanish level course. One of my semeters in school was a waste because the teacher was HORRIBLE and had a great teacher in Spain, but due to the fact that I spent the majority of the time with American students and almost everyone in the town I was at spoke English, I did not learn near as much as I had hoped. I have always wanted to learn Spanish for my self so am now looking for a someone to teach me for one hour a week, either privately or in a small group (4-5 students max. I prefer someone with teachign experience and will have an orgainzed lesson plan each week. Not someone who just speaks the language and is looking to pick up a little extra each week by showing up and teaching me a few words. I am very eager to learn!
