I have a low intermediate level. I am a college student in Denver, but my university does not offer Russian study. Hello, I want to learn French (speaking, reading and writing). I am a beginner. I have always been interesting in learning the French language, but did not have the time to do it. I am now retired (I took early retirement at the age of 50) and cannot think of anything more interesting or fun to do. If the cost is not formidable, I would make a very serious student. I have all the time in the world to devote to learning this beautiful language. I have absolutely no other obligations on my time.
I am very up-to-date on web and internet technology. Please provide me some cost estimates and describe how the 'long-distanc e' nature of the training may be handled (via email, text chatting, etc.)
The most important quality I am looking for in a teacher is patience and genuine interest in the progress I will make. Many thanks for your time.
