The reason for learning Mandarin is because of two major reasongs. One, I am interested in the Chinese culture and second, I work for a large corporation which does a lot of business in China plus I will be graduating in a year. So fo that matter, I believe I would be more of an asset by speaking Mandarin.

I am really eager to learn Amharic i understand a lot but I can only respond with one word . It is hard for me to form a complete sentance that actually makes sence in Amharic. I would like to commit at least one hour a day if possible or either meet once a week for lessons what ever it takes I will do it.I am tired of people having to translate for me it has began to affect me at home,church, and jokes are just not funny when people have to explain them to you I want to laugh with everyone .I feel as if everyone is laughing at me . One College course, some Rosetta Stone, and some tutoring. Still in beginner to intermediate stages. vocabulary is limited but growning at a fast pace. Learning for potential job use which would include conversing with speakers in the Middle East. I would like to learn Arabic for any future travel/vacati on and also just for fun. Usually spend a half hour to 1 and a half hours studying per day. Need improvements in all areas.
