My proficiency level is beginner.
I want to learn Ukrainian because I am Ukrainian and my parents never taught me. They spoke only English to me when I was young. I feel a need to learn the language of my people.
I need help with all levels of Ukrainian. I do know the alphabet, but I have great difficulty with grammar and understanding what I hear.
Beca use I work and I am in a doctoral program for psychology, my time is limited, I can only spare one hour's time per week with a tutor.
I want practical, everyday conversationa l lessons.
I need a teacher who is very patient. I have had bad teachers in the past who were very impatient and it has made me afraid of learning Ukrainian. I also need a lot of practice listening to spoken Ukrainian so I can learn to understand what I hear.

Hello: I am an older student (47) and received a Bachelor degree in Spanish. In addition, I have studied Spanish in Puebla, Mexico and Guatemala.
I have found that I am quickly losing my Spanish, therefore, I am looking to make short, but frequent trips to Spanish speaking areas close to Denver. My goal is to increase comprehension , improve writing, learn medical Spanish, and improve pronunciation .
