I am an intermediate level vietnamese student who has been speaking since childhood so I pronounce proper tones as well as know how to read. I want to enhance my Vietnamese speaking and communication skills so that I can have meaningful conversations with family members. I have no formal knowledge of grammar, but lack mostly in conversationa l skills. I am looking for an in-person learning experience where lessons last anywhere between 1-3 hours. We are a married couple that is looking for a tutor for once or twice a week to teach us the basics in Vietnamese. At this point we only know a few words. We would really like to focus on pronunciation rather than vocabulary (although I guess they go hand-in-hand) . We are already fluent in a second language, so really know what is involved in building vocabulary, etc. However, since this is the first time we will have experience in learning a tonal language, we want to be sure to learn the accents well.
