I would like to learn Japanese. It doesn't matter how long the lessons take, although three times a week I am out and could probably only once a week. I want to learn japanese for I wish to move to japan later in life. I need to remember the words better, and am struggling with that. I would like a teacher that's understanding and loves what s/he does.

I am a beginner. I am learning Japanese because I intend to go on a pilgrimage to a small island in Japan called Shikoku. I need improvement in everything. I would like to begin now, and learn until I leave...so April, 15th 2006.
