I am a beginner although i haven tried to learn the language before through audio cd's, and stopped due to time constraints. The reason for learning the language is simply a passion for the culture and society. I am going to university at the same time but am willing to spend time during the weekends and maybe even weekdays, and as for qualities in a teacher, I simply am looking for someone who has spoken the language for a long time and knows all the intricacies of it.

I am a beginner in japanese. I know alot of one word meanings but dont know how to create a sentence. I would like to learn more to improve my japanese skills. Mostly just conversation for now and perhaps how to read and write in the future.

I'm trying to learn Japanese for automotive engineering purpose, but have no experience in conversationa l Japanese. I could read Chinese characters and some Japanese alphabets. As working as an engineer I cannot spare much time for learning but some 2~3 hours per week.

Good morning,
My name is Jeffrey Simm. I work in the automotive industry which is quickly leaning towards a Japanese customer base. I would be in my best interest to learn Japanese.
I would classify myself as a begginer, again, learing Japanese as a carrer enhansment. I would like to dedicate a few hours a week. I work during the day which, would only allow for evening class or perhaps weekends.
I am having much difficulty finding available classes/tutor ing that fit my available time schedule. I would very much appreciate your help.

My proficiency level would be beginner. Although, I have been self teaching myself the language for a year, but I still cannot speak it with confidence.
I have always wanted to learn the language ever since I watched Japanese animation. That encourages me to be an animator for my career. I think the Japanese culture is truly amazing. I would like to visit Japan someday and maybe work there too.
The area I need improvement is proper grammar.
The amount of time to dedicate my language lessons would be as much as possible, but hopefully only a few months to a year depending how quickly I can pick it up.
Qualities I am looking for in my lessons or in my teacher, I would perfer a teacher who is Japanese so I will be able to learn slang and speak the language properly. This will hopefully put more quality into the lessons for me.
