To whom it may concern,
I am interested in being tutored in the Greek language. I am a first generation Greek Canadian and am travelling to Greece to visit relatives this August. I have a beginner level of Greek as I was raised speaking the language at home. I am interested in working with a tutor anywhere from 5-10 hours/week as I have a full time job that I need to work around. My goal with the lessons is to improve my speaking, writing and comprehension skills leading up to and after my trip to Greece in August.

I am half greek and would like to learn to speak the language in order to communicate with family and friends. I visited Greece last year and was quite frustrated with my inability to speak the language. I have some basic knowledge of the language (ie. salutations, common questions and answers, etc.) and a basic understanding of the Greek alphabet. I need improvement in every area, though, for i wish to be able to speak it as i do my second language, which is French. I am willing to dedicate an hour per week on my language lessons, specifically on monday nights. I am looking for a teacher who has excellent knowledge of the language, and who is patient- someone who will help guarantee my success, in addition to my own willingness!

I'm interested in becoming a fluent speaker of the Greek language. I am half greek from my father's side. I would like to be able to communicate more with my Greek family and understand more when they are talking about me hehehe =p. I am also planning to go to Greece either this year or next.
I went to Greek school as a child from grade 1-4. I took a continuing education course through VSB. I can read at a basic level, I just don't understand what I'm reading. I would be interested in learning the grammar as well.
