i am interested in learning farsi (dari) because i am very interested in the culture and language. also my soon to be in-laws are also afghans and i would like to understand them and visa-versa. i am a beginner and would like to learn some basic writing and more speaking the language. i can take the classes for up to 3 times a week. and for my teacher i would just like a helpful understanding teacher who knows the language and i willing to teach it.

I am studying Farsi (beginner level) in order to learn the vocal Radif, study the classical Persian poets, and travel in Iran. I seek to develop perfect conversationa l and formal fluency and a thorough knowledge of literary conventions. I would like to meet one-on-one with an instructor thoroughly grounded in classical literary Persian 1-3 times a week.
