I can not speak arabic. I wish to travel to Egypt for a vacation and have always been interested in reading and speaking that acient language.
I would like to dedicate at least two days a week. Preferable in the evenings.

I am a beginner in Arabic studies. I have been familiar with reading and writing in Arabic from a very young age. I would like to build my verbal skills and as well writing. I want to study Arabic because I want to attend American University in Cairo to receive a masters in Arabic. I would like my teacher to be very helpful, organized, structured and easy going. I would like to meet with my Arabic teacher on a daily basis for about 1-2 hours.

Beginner. My fiance and I are considering teaching overseas in North Africa or the Middle East. We want to begin learning Arabic now while we are still in the Chicago area. We will be getting married in Feb '06 and most likely leaving for overseas a year later, '07. We'd be interested in beginning lessons after we are married (Spring '06)

I am a beginner to Egyptian Arabic. I know many words but couldn't possibly hold on a real conversation. I'm planning to go to school for a semester in Egypt next fall and really needed some help in learning. I've tried cd's but I really prefer one on one interaction where I can ask questions and get answers.
