Hi,
My name is Sophia and I have been trying to teach myself Farsi (unsuccessful ly) for many years. I am half Persian (paternal side), but was unfortunate not to be taught the language when I was growing up, due to my father not being home much.
I have an 8 month daughter now and have been speaking all the Farsi I know( which is not a lot!) My father is also speaking Farsi to her, whenever he sees her, which is lovely.
Basically, I now feel the time has come to get some help in learning this language, so that my daughter has a better chance of being able to speak it fluently, but also so that I can have a better relationship with my family, who still live in Iran.

I’m planning on living in Spain and don’t want to end up like many foreigners not able to talk to the locals! I lived in Japan for nine years and can speak Japanese so I’m fairly confident I can learn Spanish too.
