my husband works for an Iranian company and I would like to be able to chat with the people there as I occasionally work on the reception desk for them.
I am an total beginner.
I need conversation to be able to answer the phone and reply to questions.
I am unsure what would be the best amount of time to give to lessons but I want to learn, so would like to find out what is recommended.
I would like it to be fun, perhaps playing games and having audio to practice on mp3.
I would also like to learn about culture in Iran/Turkey as we have been invited to visit.

I have an Albanian partner of 5 years and during that time I have only learnt a few words of the Albanian language.I have tried to get him to teach me properly, but even he struggles with it at times as his English is now better than his Albanian, after so many years of living in the UK. I do know the basics of the language, but I wish to progress so that I am able to create full sentences that actually make sense to other Albanians. I would like to know and understand grammar, tenses, and different forms to use in different situations. I very much love listening to the language, I think it's beautiful and hope that one day I can be able to speak fluently with his parents and we can understand eachother, and also because we plan to live in Albania in the near future.
