It is important to me that I know my mother toungue: Malayalam. I already know some Malayalam and can read and write as well as speak and understand a little bit. I need particular improvement in speaking and understanding Malayalam and learning to speak like a local in Kerala. I also feel my grammar and vocabulary needs to improve. I am currently staying in Kerala and plan to be here until November 2014. When people speak in Malayalam I find it difficult to catch everything they are saying.. I probably catch 20% and guess the rest. Even though I am in Kerala I am not living in a Malayalam speaking environment so my Malayalam is improving slowly only. I am hoping to learn as quickly as possible so I am willing to dedicate a few hours a week. I am looking for a teacher who is able to assess my current ability in speaking and understanding and help me improve quickly until I become fluent in the language. It would also be useful if the teacher can provide resources, audio as well as written, for lessons and homework. But the main priority for me now is improving my conversationa l skills.

I would like the emphasis to be on conversation rather than written Greek.

I am engaged to be married to a moroccan man and although his english is good i want to learn moroccan arabic as well so that i can communicate effectively when i visit him in morocco and get to know his family who speak no english. I am a complete beginner. There will be times when i am in morocco without him and i need to be able to converse confidently in everyday situations. I would like one or 2 1-hour lessons per week via skype and i will try to study 1 hour each day on my own. I am looking for someone who can make learning fun as i feel it is pretty daunting at the moment but i want just to do my best for my future husband!
