Hello,
I would like to learn Pashto from beginner level. I work on on Afghanistan and northern Pakistan a great deal and would eventually like to carry out research in norther Pakistan.
I'm particularly interested in building up conversationa l skill - I speak, read and write Urdu so hopefully that will make understanding the script easier.
I have been looking for Pushto classes in London for many years now and have bought several online courses. I think it is important to have live tuition in order to learn a language so OI'm very keen to attend classes. I could take between 1-2 classes a week. Obviously this would depend on the cost and of course, budget is an issue.
Ide ally I am looking for someone who is trained in teaching languages. It seems to me that Pushto is quite tough to get the hang off and I'd like someone that can explain the grammatical structures, etc.
