I would consider myself a complete beginner. My boyfriend is Brazilian and I have spent 2 1/2 months on Brazil where I picked up a very basic few words. I would like to learn Portuguese so I can spend time in Brazil, communicate with my boyfriend's family and possibly get a job there.
Ideal ly I need a Brazilian tutor and am looking to have 1-2 private 1-1 lessons a week.

Hi
We are looking for someone to teach Spanish to our six year old daughter. She has a good grasp of English for her age and would like to learn Spanish of which she currently knows just a few words.
We are looking ideally for someone who has Spanish as a first lanuage, but is fluent in English and has good teaching skills. We would pefer a female teacher would could come to our house, alternatively we could bring our daughter to the teacher.
W e are thinking of one hour per week to start with, on a weekday evening.

I am a beginner - i.e. I have never spoken the language before
As a university student (London School of Economics)my aim is to eventually use the language as a business resource. For now my interest is purely personal (I am originally from India but have lived in Europe all my life).
I would like to learn 2-4 hours a week, preferably on a flexible basis to fit in with my university commitments.
I want someone committed and enthusiastic, not someone looking at their watch to finish the lesson. Competencey is obviously a pre-requisite .

I would like to learn polish because my mother is polish and it is part of my heritage. I speak only a few words of polish and am keen to learn. I speak chinese almost fluently ad also a lot of french so i think I am a fast learner. I would like one 2 hour lesson a week if it is possible.
