I am half Turkish but unfortunately can only understand and speak very,very little turkish.
I can read a Turkish newspaper but not very quickly.
I understand basic things like numbers, days of the week,basic conversation fillers like hello, welcome,goodb ye,how are you e.t.c
I would like to be able to have conversations with my family and my father in turkish and not have to rely on them to speak english all the time.
As i will be a student i can only really afford one lesson a week but don't mind being in a small group if this is a little more affordable.
I do have access to Turkish cable and newspapers at my mother and father's home if this will help me develop and can practice with my Father as he is the Turkish parent.

My husband and I are both beginners. We are learning Spanish so that we may enjoy communicating with the locals and get more involved in the Spanish way of life in the village where our Spanish home is located. We work and live in England at present but hope to relocate to Spain within the next six years. We obviously want to learn conversationa l Spanish that will enable us to become more involved in the Spanish way of life and become more fluent in the language. We also wish to learn the grammar etc.
