I am a 41-year-old native English speaker from the UK. I am looking to learn Russian as I believe it will be useful as a lingua franca in my business dealings in Eastern Europe. Much of my business at present is in Bulgaria, and I am actively improving my basic-level Bulgarian, but I meet many contacts where I feel some knowledge of Russian would be of great help. On a personal level, I have enjoyed visiting Russia several times, and I would like to learn more about the culture and language in order to appreciate the country more.
Alth ough my time is limited, I am a keen learner, and I regard myself as being dedicated to the achievement of what I set out to do. I am looking to spend 1-1.5 hours per lesson twice a week with an experienced teacher who can adapt to the individual needs and pace of their student.

I am currently trying to learn Arabic. i have recently returned from Dubai and wish to return there to work however feel i would be far more successful with the abilty to deal in both english and Arabic. I am studying at University so my hours are fairly flexible. I am a fast learner however do need to be pushed to reahc my maximum potential to prevent me from becoming Complacent.
