Myself and my Husband are moving to Northern Cyprus in January 2007, and we would like to learn a some of the language before we go. We have never spoken turkish before apart from a few words taught to us by friends while on holiday there, so we would be absolute beginners to the language. We are maybe looking to do one or possibly two days a week depending on if we have to travel and how far. Ideally we would prefer the teacher to come to us, but we are willing to travel if needs be, depending on how far it is. We are aware we will not master the language fully before we live there, but are hoping to be able to communicate in shops and resturants and whilst meeting people. Hope there is a teacher out there to meet our needs.

Hello,
I am a total beginner, but would love to learn Hindi. I work 6 months of the year in the Andaman Islands, India as a Scuba Diving Instructor. Therefore, I really do need to be able to communicate with my staff and potential students. At present it's not really necessary for me to able to actually teach diving in Hindi, as most Indian students I have speak very good English.
I am currently in the UK until beginning of January so would therefore be interested in an intensive course of some kind. I am quite happy to learn on a one-to-one basis or in a classroom environment with other students. I'm not really keen on learning online by email.
I work full time at the moment in Reading as a Legal Secretary, so would find it difficult to attend classes during the day. I wouldn't mind spending 2 or 3 evenings a week attending lessons, with the remainder of the week free to self-study or do homework. But as I only have 3 months, I am open to suggestions on how to spread the course.
I would really like a teacher who could teach me mainly conversationa l Hindi but also some reading and writing.

I am an absolute beginner. I would like to learn Vietnamese more in the conversation way because I would like to communicate with my boyfriend's parents. I probably would like to have it twice a week, one hour each time, but it depends on my timetable. I will try. I'm looking for really active lessons, so I actually have to speak a lot, have homework, discussions and things like that.
