I have been visiting Slovenia for nearly twenty years and really enjoy the country and its' people. Finally, we are buying a property in Slovenia. It is in a rural area and has a small vineyard.
Although, a lot of Slovenians can speak English, and are often keen too, I would like to be able to communicate in Slovenian.
I can do greetings and count a little, but would like to be able to converse with neighbours and make friends.
I am not a gifted linguist and am aged 50, so I need a patient teacher.
I could do some intensive language training either in England or in Slovenia.
I am travelling to Slovenia and will be spending time in Bled and Krsko (where my new home is) so I could arrange to meet a teacher in Slovenia during that time.

i have been learning swedish since september 2005, i have basic knowledge of the langauge and feel confident in what i know. i am learning swedish becasue i am applying to the university of Malmo to study there, so basically for career advancement. i think i need to focus on all areas becasue i wish to speak it fluently that is my goal. i would like to dedicate a lot of time to my lessons as i am very keen to learn the language, i am looking for my teacher to be very supportive a good sense of humour and make the learning fun as well as the work being hard work. i like to be pushed in order to achieve the best possible result.

Complete beginner. I want to learn urdu as it is the mother tongue of my family. At present the most important thing to me is to learn conversation. I dont mind how muchtime i contribute to learning as long as its in the evening or weekends and preferably on a one to one basis.

i am a muslim who would like to learn Arabic so that i have a better understanding of the Qu'ran. i have read the Qu'ran as a child but as i dont speak Arabic i did not understand it and would love to learn more about the teachings of the Qu'ran. i would have 2 hours per week or more depending on how i am taught.
