I am a complete beginner, and have never read or studied chinese before. I would like to learn chinese(manda rin) for a year, in order to prepare myself for the course that I would like to study at university: French and Chinese. I would like to gain a basic understanding of the language and be able to converse even at a a low level. I would like to dedicate approximately 4 hours a week to lessons. The teacher should be easily understood in english, an able educator, experience in chinese and be willing to work with someone who has very little knowledge of the language. Also the fees should be at a reasonable price.

I am married to a Russian woman and make frequent visits to Moscow.When in Moscow it would be very useful to speak and read the Russian language. At present I am unable to join in any conversations with my wife's fiends unless they can speak English.
I am very much a beginner,alth ough I do know some Russian words which I have learnt from my wife.

My name is Jess Reinhold and I am looking to move to Catalunya towards the end of the year. I have a basic knowledge of Spainish (which needs to be brushed up) but I also need to learn Catalan of which I have no background. I am looking for a couple of hours a week of tutition - maybe more if I decide to study Spainish at the sametime.
