I am taking up Afrikaans as my boyfriend is from South Africa and I wish to be able to communicate with him in his language but I like surprising him with words or phrases he hasnt taught me. He does teach me but he gets kind of busy with work and stuff so extra help would be great. I know quite a bit now I would say I was at the level of intermediate. Wish to know more day to day conversations phrases and words that can be useful. I am free anytime for any length of time :)

I am learning Afrikaans because my girlfrend and all her family speak Afrikaans, I would also like to live and work in South Africa one day. I also work in a diverse area of London and having Afrikaans would be a great help.
I can speak some Afrikaans but would like to start from the beginning again. I would like to work on all aspects of the Afrikaans language. I can only do a few days of the week learning as I have to work 5 days a week with mixed shift patters.
I am looking for a teacher that can have patients and that is understanding and flexible.
