I am studying Chinese. I want to be a translator as well as study martial arts in China. I've had Chinese lessons before in highschool and I have some Chinese friends but I want to gain more profenciency in it. I feel my biggest area of improvement I need to work on is my writting. I am looking for someone who can give me private lessons in the teaching of the language Gaelic(scotti sh). I am a beginner and I need a little discipline in learnning this language. Why am I teaching myself Gaelic in the first place? Well knowledge is something I truly prize. Also I plan to attend a university in Central Scottland next fall and I plan to live there(Even if i don't get in) and I would like to know their native tongue. I would need lessons in grammer and conversation. I admit I am not the fastest learner, but I try hard, never give up and I have the determination to learn. I'm will to dedicate as much time as possible for these lessons, but seeing as I do begin work sometime this August and Later starting school, the lessons will work around them. Though I will be practicing at work and school(slight y), I never slack when It comes to something I really want to learn!I'm looking for someone who can truly discipline me in this language and in our studies.

I was born in Croatia, but immigrated with my family to NYC when I was 4 years old. Therefore, I never learned Croatian grammar in school. I speak Croatian, but not well. I want to gain fluency in my native language. I need to improve grammar and conversation fluency.
Ideally, I'd like to spend several hours a week in language instruction. I am happy to do homework.
