I have been studying khmer for 3 years in Paris, France where i live most of the time. I am now in Manhattan for the summer and would like to have some one-to-one lessons with a native speaker as i need to learn how to speak on the phone to mu Cambodian godchild ( i am a member of a French association which helps to manage an orphanage in Bakou, Kandal Province). I go to Phnom Pemh every year and love the country and the people. I already know how to read and write basic things, but need more oral practice.

My son is 14 and has completed one year of high school Mandarin in Northern California. He is transferring to the high school here in Franklin, TN and they do not offer this language option.
If a tutor is available here in the Franklin / Nashville area and we can coordinate this through the school, then that would be best.
If a tutor is available online, then I would still like to work through the high school so that he gets his language credits.

I would love to learn Japanese because Im really into their culture such as music and animation. Also next summer I will be going to Japan and would like to know how to speak fluent Japanese. My proficiency level would be beginner. The major areas I would need help in are grammar and conversation. I will dedicate as many hours each day that a teacher is willing to work with me for. A teacher Im looking for is one that can help me speak fluent Japanese in a easy way. A way that makes learning the language fun and makes it simple for me to understand and pick up on quickly.
