I worked in Tokoyo before, I was 28 years old and very unprepared. My ladies however were kind and taught me many words and shared fruits and drinks with me. My level is still very little. You should know I am difficult to teach becuase I learn slow. Please dont get frustrated it will eventually sink in. I like to one day return to Japan for work. I prefer a woman to teach me but will respond to all who contact me. I like to read and learn in romanji but I guess it is time to learn little bit, hiragana?

Hello,
I am an American that lives in the state of Maine in the United States. I am currently preparing for an eventual move to Sweden, where I hope to study at the Masters and PHD level. I plan on moving in the Summer of 2012.
Anyway , I lived in Sweden when I was young, so I know a little bit of Swedish, but I need vastly improve on that level, for both the purpose of my current MA studies--I need to test out in Swedish in 2012--and to be in a competitive position when I move to Sweden.
I am looking to study approximtely 10 hours per week, and to find a long-term instructor that will help me to become competent in the language. I would be willing to guarantee the 10 hours of study if a discount was offered; otherwise, I am just looking for a kind and understanding teacher to help me in my quest :-)
