My name is Agatha and I am currently learning Swahili for career advancement. My proficiency level in reading and writing is intermediate; however, I feel that I need particular improvement in conversation. I would like to start out with conversation lessons three times a week with the option to be able to increase this number in the future. I would also like to know the rates for such classes. One on one tutoring would be preferable, however, I am willing to join a group if it is easier for the teacher.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher are enthusiasm, honesty, knowledge, and flexibility.

I would like to learn the lnguage for my own pleasure and as a jumping off point to become fluent in Old English, Low Saxon, etc. I have no fluency in Icelandic at all. My native language was Plattdeutsch but I have largely forgotten that language. I would like to learn proper pronouciation from a teacher and continue study from books, internet, etc.
