I just finished my undergrad career at Grand Valley State University. While there I studied Japanese for 2 years. They are finally starting a 3rd year language proficiency called advance intermediate Japanese 301. While taking the class I ranked 3rd amongst all her students for 4 semesters straight. Unfortunately , I haven't studied the language in 2 years so my grammar, conversation and Kanji knowledge has dwindled, I can however, recognize the Kanji that I knew and I can still read Hiragana and Katakana. I am looking for someone who can help me recover my lost knowledge as well as push me further in understanding and application. My goal is to become fluent in the language after intensive study by the time I am 30 years old. I love worksheets, puzzles and just about everything that I can get my hands on. I even have a few literature books for a independent study course that was canceled last minute. I am a very fast learner who wants to dedicate at least 3-4 hours a week, possibly more once I get a steady job, to personal lessons and another 3-4 hours of my own studying. I am looking for a flexible teacher who is willing to go an extra mile for me. I would also prefer a teach who is fun and serious at the same time. Someone from Japan is preferred because I plan on getting my master's degree in Asian Pacific Studies at Ristumeikan Daigaku in a few years.

I am learning foreign languages (Japanese first) to aid in my future career in law enforcement. I am a beginner- which means I can barely say hello correctly. I am willing to dedicate hours to learning Japanese and all other subsequent foreign languages on my list. I am looking for a teacher that was born surrounded by the language they are teaching. Not an American person who went to college and learned it. I feel better learning Japanese from a person who grew up speaking Japanese in their household. I apologize if this is in any way offensive.

My boyfriend and his family are Romanian. As our relationship grows deeper, I am really interested in learning the language. I would love to speak Romanian with him and his family and attend church services that are spoke in Romanian. In general, I have always been interested in learning another language. I already know the basic words, like hello, i love you, whats up, car good and simple words like that. I would love to spend atleast 2 days a week learning the language. As summer approaches, I will not be in school so it will be a perfect time to dedicate to learning. I am looking for a teacher with experience, patience and who is dedicated to teaching me how to learn Romanian. I will trake it very seriously, so I would want me teacher to do the same.

Japanese is the one language that has always fascinated me, and the deeper I delved into learning about the country the more I wished to learn the language. Unfortunately the area in which I live has no courses or lessons I can attend and I would prefer learning in a one-on-one/sm all class over Rosetta Stone.
I have started self-study recently using books I have purchased from various stores, as well as a few dictionaries. Still, may grasp of the language is barely anything. Generally speaking my plan was to first learn the written language then move onto the spoken, but if they could be mixed together that would be great as well.
Time -wise, I have work and group sessions almost everyday of the week so evenings would be the best time, and after I graduate in the next two weeks the mornings.
I'm hoping to find a teacher who is fun, and friendly, patient and has no problem with being peppered with questions. Also I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and as such need someone who is willing to put up with my awkward behaviors at times and encourage me.
