I am interested in learning Chinese Mandarin. I have taken some lessons before, but I am still very much a beginner.
I am seeking a tutor that has a strong grasp of Chinese pronunciation and grammar. An understanding of English language and culture in the USA is also good.
I would also like to learn to write in Chinese, but that is a bit difficult for now and I just want to learn basics first.

I am currently enrolled in an online university to learn Chinese; however, I live in a small town and don't really have anyone to practice with or use what I learn. I hope to one day be able to interpret, so I would appreciate a teacher who helps me with my listening/spe aking and pronunciation . I am somewhere in the (beginner) intermediate range.
Because I am working and studying at the same time, my schedule varies from week to week, so it would be great if my teacher is flexible with the schedule. I would like to start off with one hour lessons once a week.

I would like to take live online classes 1-2 times a week after 7:30 p.m. MST on weekdays with 2+ other students seeking to improve and build on their conversationa l Mandarin Chinese. I am interested in learning conversationa l Chinese only (no writing).On a scale of 1-10, 1 being an absolute beginner and 10 being native Chinese, I am at about a 3.

I lived in Taipei, Taiwan for 2 years between 2017-2019 but recently moved back to the U.S. In that time, I did not learn enough Mandarin to feel confident in the day-to-day life around the city. I am a beginner Mandarin learner and wish to be most proficient in conversation. When I do end up in Taiwan again, I may be teaching English, so conversationa l Mandarin will probably be best at this time. I would like to dedicate at least 2 days a week to language lessons.

I am an Air Force officer and I am interested in increasing my proficiency in Japanese (lived there for 4 years and have been studying for 7 years). I would also like to learn some Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. I am a dedicated student, fully capable of tackling multiple languages at one time and doing well in all. I work shiftwork, so I can devote 2-4 hours each week for 1 on 1 lessons in each language. I would welcome a face to face meeting before you decide on taking me as a student.
