I am a beginning to learn Hungarian after visiting Hungary for a week last summer. I made many friends and plan to return in Feb. and July this year with a possiblity of moving to Hungary by 2010. I need to start at the beginning since I only learned a few simple phrases last summer. I would like to meet 1-3 times a week for lessons and conversation or for a longer span of time on the weekend for just 1 day. For me, the best way to learn a lanugage is to use it in 'real' situations. I know that grammar and spelling are important and would like some things to work on in between meetings. For lessons, mock conversations and games where I would need to use the language in everyday situations would be good. I learned colors and numbers playing UNO while in Hungary. A cooking lesson, a trip to the grocery store, pretending to be at the airport, etc would all be helpful. I will be teaching English this summer so phrases that teachers use would also be helpful.

I want to maintain and improve my existing Spanish abilities while living in the US.
I would like to focus on advanced grammer, professional vocabulary, and commom native Spanish speakers' sayings and phrases.
I 'd prefer 45 minute - 1 hour lessons once a week and weekly homework assignments. I'd also prefer a classroom or group learning setting.
I 'd like lessons to be given primarily in Spanish with occassional English explanations. Teacher should be a native speaker and educated in Spanish language education or a graduate of similar university course work. Instructor should also be fluent in English.

A friend and I are looking to learn Sign Language. We are both beginners and have essentially no experience in signing. I think that having a knowledge of ASL would be very beneficial for any career, and I have been interested in learning for quite some time because I find it fascinating. If it would be possible, my friend and I would like to have lessons perhaps twice a week in the evenings. We are looking for a teacher who can be patient with students who are new to singing as we are both just beginning! Thank you!

I picked up a few books in January and have been studying ever since. I would say my level is beginner to intermediate. I am learning Finnish because I want to study abroad in Finland and also for personal reasons. I feel my biggest problem is sentence structure and grammar. I am willing to do lessons as often as needed. I am looking for a teacher who will be patient and allow me to learn and not memorize. I would prefer a teacher who has at least lived in Finland.

I am freshman in College.My native language is Turkish. I believe French language will be useful for me in the Future.
