Hello,
I found your listing on this site as being a Tamil teacher and am very interested in taking classes.
I am a first year medical student at UT Southwestern in Dallas and am learning Tamil in order to attempt to open a health clinic in a small rural village in Tamil Nadu very near Madurai. I would like to have a good command of Tamil before going there this upcoming summer.
Bo th of my parents are immigrants to the U.S. from Madras. I am a native Tamil speaker and used to speak when I was a child but have forgotten in the English schooling process. I can still understand when my parents speak to me but have trouble constructing sentences.
If you could help me learn (or regain) this ability, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm a beginner in Thai. The only Thai words I know are 'Sawadee kha, kop koon kha, nee tow rai & nit noy'.
I want to learn Thai because I love Thailand. I visit at least once a year & would love to be able to speak with the locals.
I'd love to concentrate on conversation & grammar, with once a week classes. My ideal teacher would be someone who knows how to make the lesson fun & can tailor the classes to my needs & learning speed.

I am an intermediate Mandarin speaker with basic reading and writing skills. I lived and worked in Taiwan for 18 months in the mid-90's and have since taken a couple of Chinese language classes (2nd and 3rd year) at Pasadena City College. I want to improve my spoken Chinese and learn how to read a newspaper. I would like to find a teacher who will keep me on a steady pace but tailor the lessons to my needs. I would be interested in in-person lessons, possibly with phone/interne t-conference based supplements. I am interested in using simplified characters and focusing on business-rela ted vocabularies.
