Hello!
I am beginning Arabic student who wishes to learn more and maybe one day be fluent. I want to learn Arabic because of my strong interest in the Middle East and its history and because it would help me in my career.
I want to spend roughly 2-4 hours a week studying the language depending on my schedule. I am a fairly relaxed individual who likes to focus more on conversation and vocabulary than grammar but I understand that hrammar is essential. I have taken a little Arabic in the past but I am looking to give it my all with a tutor or small class so that I can finally be conversationa l.

I was born in New Delhi but grew up in the U.S. While I understand much Punjabi as my parents spoke at home, I have had no formal training and hence find it difficult to speak and cannot read/write much. I would like to have a private tutor teach me the Punjabi language so that I can better understand and integrate into my root culture and religion from here in the U.S. My preference is to spend 2-4 hrs per week in my home with a one-on-one tutor, preferably on the weekends. But I would consider a small group setting in a nearby location.
