My husband and I are both Cuban-America n and are interested in improving our Spanish. We just had a baby and feel it is imperative we teach her both English and Spanish correctly. We can both carry a conversation for the most part, but we confuse tenses at times and forget how to say certain words. I would say we would need an intermediate class moving towards the advanced quickly.
A reas we need most improvement on is conversation mostly and grammar as well.
We would be interested in lessons maybe once a week.
We are looking to improve our spanish drastically and we are looking for a teacher that can help us learn in a fun and practical manner.

I learned to speak Polish over 40 years ago as a professional musician traveling with the 'Mazowsze' for about 8 weeks in the USA. I am amazed that I can still speak it, and I want to keep learning it. I love the language.
I want improvement in conversation, especially since I have nobody to speak with.
I want to dedicate everyday to the Polish language.

My husband and I are both interested in learning Marathi.
Though my parents both speak Marathi, over the past 15+ years, we have stopped regularly Marathi at home and my proficiency has gone down quite a bit. I understand about 70% of the language but do not have the proper grammar skills to speak. My husband is American and does not know any Marathi except for a few common phrases.
We primarily want to learn 'conversation al' Marathi so we can teach our child to speak her native language at home.
If there are no teachers in the Chicago area, we would be willing to learn via Skype or other online tools. However, I think it is important to hear the teacher speak so I am not looking for a class that corresponds via email only.
We are very dedicated to learning so we would be willing to discuss an appropriate curriculum to meet our needs. We are assuming at least a 1-2 hr weekly session.
