Hello my name is Emily and I am 15 years old. I have chosen to study Korean and Mandarin Chinese because I am interested in the cultures and language. I also believe this will aid me in college prep and entrance requirements, not to mention my future career plan to be an ESL teacher.
At the moment my Korean and Chinese are almost non-existant, so I'll need help on everything. I'ved been trying to self teach myself through books and online chatting.
I am willing to dedicate quite a bit of my time to this endeavor as it is something that I am truely interested in.
Some qualities I am looking for in a teacher are: a strong desire to teach and a good student repoir, strong organization, variety in lesson plans, excellent English language proficiency, sense of humor and approachabili ty/ease of interaction.

I am interested in learning Interlingua. However, since no option for that is listed here I listed Esperanto as it is another constructed international auxiliary language. I would like to begin lessons between mid September and early October. I have been reading up on Interlingua and with my background in French and a little Spanish, I understand a bit more than half of what I read at the moment. I understand most simple sentences in Interlingua. If there is anybody who would be able to aid me in learning further, I would appreciate it.
