Hi, I am a German native living in San Diego, Southern California. I am looking for a local Nepali teacher. My boyfriend is from Nepal which is why I want to learn the language. I am interested in formal teaching with a bit more dicipline and speed than my boyfriend is willing to come up with.
I have learned several languages before and consider myself a very quick learner. I would like to meet two or three times a week minimum.
I need a teacher who is willing to try the more modern approach with speaking first, then writing and grammar, but I am flexible and open to more conservative methods as well.

I am a beginner who wishes to learn Norwegian so I can visit the love of my life in Norway. It is particularly important for me to learn to speak the language somewhat before I visit her family. I want to marry this woman, but feel that it would be impossible to be accepted into her family if I did not have a working knowledge of the lanuage.
