I am currently enrolled in Russian 1 for college. I have wanted to learn Russian for many years and now I am finally able to do so, but in the first week of class I am already seeing that I will have trouble. Since my classes are online my Russian course is a mixture of the Rosetta Stone program and assignments given by my professor. The Rosetta Stone program so far does not seem like an effective way to learn to speak the language, I can hear and understand fairly well, but to learn the correct pronunciation of the words is extreemly difficult.

I've wanted to learn Swedish for a while now, and have now found a school in Sweden I want to attend it 2012. Learning Sweden is required for admission, so I want to learn.
I also took 2 years of German in high school and love the language and culture. I would love to be fluent.
Sw edish: Beginner
Ger man: Elementary
Swedish: I need to start from the ground.
Germ an: I'm awful with the grammar. I understand it, I just need practice. I'm pretty good at spelling and translating, but my speech is weak.
I'd personally love to take 2-4 hrs a week of Swedish.
I would like to work with someone that is fluent, and in person. I learn quickly, but I'm not good at teaching myself. So I need guidance.

I am a 15 year old student in 10th grade that has an interest in taking japanese as a language for school credit. The school is an alternative school (the Crefeld School)that is will to accept other languages than the courses offered.
I would anticipate 2 to 3 classes a week a beginner/intr oduction to Japanese student.
I would like a teacher that is patient and willing to work with and avid learner who may need support during the class.
