I am an absolute newbie that would be starting from the very beginning. As a little girl I was interestingly drawn to the Middle Eastern Culture and over the years I have studied every aspect of it....from religion, common beliefs, history and folklore, music and food,etc. While I've tried to dabble in learning the language myself, it's very hard to do so. Too hard for me to make any sense of what I am doing. I have an intense passion to learn to both read and write and speak the language and while I am unsure as to the proper course of study and time involved I would be willing to make my language learning a priority.

Hello. My name is Erika. I am half Korean, half Filipino. My goal is to learn Korean language for my own benefit and to speak to my relatives. I have no real grasp of Korean except reading simple hangul words/names. I am aiming to be proficient in Korean, and I am willing to dedicate a lot of my time to it. I am looking for a teacher to teach Spanish to small group of coworkers at our business headquarters. In the not-too-dista nt future, we will need to communicate with counterparts and new business partners in various regions of Latin America. I would classify all of us as beginners. We are interested most in improving our verbal skills in Spanish, followed by grammer, reading, and lastly, writing. We can dedicate one session, maybe two sessions, per week; each session being anywhere from one to two hours. We are looking for a teacher who is able to teach to various different learning styles: visual, verbal, auditory, and tactile/kines thetic. I hope lessons can be interactive, engaging even beyond the classroom, and applicable to our business needs. Non-conventio nal teaching techniques are welcome; we're a non-conventio nal group. Homework assignments, particularly working with each other and/or small projects, would also be of interest.
