Learning Russian has always been a life long goal of mine. I recently graduated college with a degree in International Relations and have previously studied French. While in college I extensively studied Russian/Sovie t and Eurasian politics. Though I have studied much about Russia I feel the next step is to actually learn the language if I want to puruse of career in International Relations and contiuned study of the region.
I am a true beginner. I recently bought Rosetta Stone, but I would like more intense study. I am willing to dedicate studying an hour a day and meeting twice a week.
In a teacher, I am looking for someone with an enthusiasm for teaching, but also loves Russian culture, politics and current events.

I want to learn to speak English because I just moved to America and I have trouble with everyday conversation. My husband is American. He is writing this paragraph for me. My proficiency level is beginner/inte rmediate. The areas that I feel I need improvement are conversation and grammar. I would like to dedicate 6 hours a week tutor time in the beginning of my studies and maybe increase in time as I progress. I can dedicate another 6 hours a week for alone study time. The qualities I would like in a teacher would be: Amharic speaking and ability to determine my efficient learning style since I do not know the best learning style for myself.

I am traveling to Italy with my family next year and would like to have a basic knowledge of the language for travel.I am looking for private, semi private or small group classes once per week. I am looking for an in-person Hindi tutor for my eight year old daughter, and possibly my four year old. I may also be interested in online classes for myself. My daughter has been taking Hindi for a couple of years and can read and write at a beginner's level. I am looking for her to improve her conversation skills.
