I am looking to improve my ability to communicate in Czech primarily in conversation. I have been with my Czech husband for 22 years and have picked up basic conversationa l Czech over the years by necessity as my in laws don't speak English nor French. I have an undergrad degree in linguistics, and learned French and Spanish in high school. I pick up languages relatively easily. I have a 13 year old daughter who I would also like to see improve her conversationa l skills in Czech. Her Czech is better than mine as she had the advantage of learning Czech at a much younger age when her Baba acted as her nanny when she was very small. If possible, we'd like to take lessons together via Skype or FaceTime. We' d be looking at an hour a week or two hours every other week. We are looking for a native speaking Czech who is a flexible and friendly person to help us improve our skills. We travel several times a year to Prague.

I am a beginner/inte rmediate learner of the Czech language. I lived in Liberec CZ for 9 months and loved the language and would like to further my skill with it. Currently I am doing some self study from books and speaking with my girlfriend who is a native Czech speaker from Morava.
I know some basic phrases and vocabulary, and my grammar is starting to improve. However my conversationa l skills are lacking.

I want to learn Czech because I am dating someone from the Czech Republic and I am planning to move there in the spring of 2013. I have no Czech experience what so ever. I work Tuesday to Saturday and I can learn in the evenings. Maybe twice a week would work for me. I want someone who knows fluent Czech and someone who is interested in helping me learn the language, not just there to make money.

I am learning Czech because my mom is from Céske Budejovice and is a native speaker. I was raised in Canada and did not learn the language. I will be spending every summer in the Czech Republic and want to be able to fluently speak to my family. I will be dedicating the next
