My father passed away last year, he was born and raised in Bergen Norway. I have many family members who still live there, my fathers dying wish was for his ashes to be spread in the fjords back where he grew up. I have been communicating with family members in Norway but my aunt who was the closest to my father does not speak any english. My whole life I have strived to connect with this side of my family, I want more than anything to be able to speak the language it means more to me than I could ever put down in words. I plan on visiting Bergen next summer to spread my fathers ashes, I have been saving for the trip since he passed. I am looking for some instruction, I have been trying to teach my-self however I only know one norwegian speaking person whom I see rarely. Please help me, Ruby Gjerde

Greetings,
I would like to become fluent in Russian language as soon as possible. This is for both career and personal development. It is necessary for me. I also speak French, and so I am not unaccustomed to learning a foreign language.
My fiancée and I have some fairly significant challenges with our personal communication s. Until only recently, I have felt my Russian language skills are 'adequate'. I now have learned my Russian is 'terrible'. I regularly travel to Ukraine, up to 4 times per year. The areas in which I particularly require fluency are grammar and conversation. I have specific difficulty with the normal use of 'double negatives' in Russian, which in English generally causes your statement to mean the exact opposite of what you want to say.
I am able to understand the gist of Russian conversation in others. I am able to converse with people in Russian IF they will speak slowly for me - more more slowly than normal conversation.
How much time I am willing to dedicate to my Russian language studies is 'every waking hour', when I am not working. I have been 'self-studyin g' Russian for over 4.5 years. This includes a number of travels to immerse myself in the language and culture.
I would like to find quality instruction sensitive to my conversationa l needs. For example, colloquial instruction rather than full formal instruction, including slang.

My extended family is filipino and speaks tagalog. I cannot. I need to learn!
I'm a beginner. I've been studying a bunch on my own, through Rosetta Stone, and textbooks, but I have almost no vocal practice, or conversationa l knowledge.
I need to practice speaking as well as sentence structure.
I want to dedicate some time every night to my language lessons.
I 'm looking for a native Tagalog Speaker to help me with pronunciation and 'real' spoken Tagalog... Meaning not too formal, and not too slang.

My wife and I want to learn Portuguese. I have traveled to Brazil on three occasions and my sister and her family live in Brazil. Both my wife Lisa and I speak Spanish. I would characterize my wife's level as beginner and advanced beginner for myself.
We want a teacher to demands we speak with the proper accent and grammer. Please let us know if we can arrange lessons. Do you have group lessions. Perhaps at our level group lessons would work the best.
